Obituary

John Arthur Cabot Jr

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Arthur Cabot Jr, 57, of Gilbert, Arizona, who passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026.

John was born on September 27, 1968, in Warren, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, father, pappy, son, and friend whose presence touched countless lives.

John attended Charter Oak High School in Glendora, California. Throughout his life, he pursued several career paths, but his most rewarding and most recent role was serving as a Security Monitor at a local middle school. He found great joy in mentoring students and supporting staff, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Those who knew John will remember him for his kind heart, generosity, humor, dedication, and creativity. His love for family and friends was evident in everything he did. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for.

In his free time, John enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his family, enjoying good food, seeking new adventures and exploring new places. Some of his happiest moments were spent creating memories with the people he loved most.

John leaves behind his beloved wife of 35 years, Michele; his daughter, Courtney; and his cherished granddaughter, Aubrey. He is also survived by his mother, Judith White, and his stepfather, Scott White, of Glendora, California. He was preceded in death by his father, John Cabot Sr.

John will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In accordance with John's wishes, no services will be held.

Forever in our hearts.

I had the privilege of working with John at the middle school. I will always cherish the little moments we shared talking in the hallways. One of my favorites was when he would light up when talking about vacations (especially those of his Disney trips) he spent with his family. I will truly miss you, all of my family’s thoughts will be with his during this time.
