Colleen Mohrman, 56, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 25, 2026, following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Colleen was born to Roger and Lana Kisiel in Lexington Park, Maryland. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, beautiful memories, and a profound impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Colleen was a loving wife, devoted mother to Patterson, and a cherished friend. She will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the warmth, kindness, strength, and love she so freely shared with those around her.
Colleen and her husband, Brett, shared 25 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, treasured experiences, and countless memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
Throughout her life, Colleen found joy in her family, friendships, travel, and career. She had a special way of making people laugh and making everyone around her feel welcome. Her warmth and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her. Those who knew Colleen will forever remember her love of dogs and the joy they brought to her life.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Brett Mohrman; her son, Patterson; and her two beloved dogs, Porter and Mae. She is also survived by her mother, Lana Kisiel, and father, Roger Kisiel; her sister, Julie Lubin and her husband, Jason Lubin; her sister, Kendra Kisiel; and her niece, Samantha Kisiel. She is also survived by her stepmother, Sharon Kisiel, and her stepbrothers, Chandler Kisiel and Cameron Kisiel.
Colleen will be deeply missed by her family and friends and by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and the love she shared will remain a lasting part of the lives she made brighter.
Services
A celebration of Colleen’s life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified when arrangements have been finalized. Until then, we invite all who knew and loved Colleen to hold close the memories, laughter, and love she shared with so many.

I am very sorry to hear that Colleen has passed away. Colleen was my neighbor many years ago on Winchester rd. We had some good times back in the day. The family always welcomed friends into their home as we sipped on Dr Pepper out of Smurf glasses from Hardee’s and played Atari with Kendra. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. My heart is so sad for such a wonderful person. My mother was her Scout leader for years and My sister‘s very good friends with her growing up. Colleen lit the room up everywhere she went even as a child. Praying for your family pray that God the minister to all the many people that loved her. Bill

Colleen was the light in any room that she walked into or was in. I had the honor of working for her at Belk here in Valdosta, Georgia. I loved her spunkiness and her love of love and those around her. I am absolutely floored and heartbroken! Brett and Patterson, y'all are in my prayers for comfort and healing. Know that she will always be with you and watching over y'all. I pray for her parents and siblings as well.

Coleen was a spark! I’ll always remember her laugh, warmth, and bubbly personality, and think of her as your Southern Belle. I know you’re going through a terrible moment right now Brett, for I had to endure it also losing Linda to the terrible C. We are heartbroken over Colleen’s passing. It feels like only yesterday we watched you exchange vows in Georgia and later welcomed little Patterson. Twenty‑five years of a beautiful, God‑blessed marriage passed in what seemed like a blink.

It is hard to believe that after knowing you and your family for more than 50 years, we have to say goodbye far too soon. I will always remember your beautiful smile, your incredible love for your family, and your unwavering compassion for animals. Some of my fondest memories growing up are of the summers our families spent together, and it has been wonderful to continue watching your life unfold through the years. My heart is broken. I am so sorry for your loss. I know it has been said many times, but her fun nature and love of life was contagious. I remember her so well in her youth as she came to the house for noisy sleepovers with Amber and Leigh Ann, or was on one of our scouting adventures camping. She so loved anything and always made every event more fun. May God bless you all as you walk through this difficult time. I have the fondest memories of Colleen in our early twenties. She was always ready to dance, and go out on the town. I have loved staying connected over Facebook all of these years and seeing her life with Brett, the love of her life and adoringly raise Patterson. My heart and prayers are with you all. I am so saddened and heartbroken to hear of the passing of this beautiful human. I worked with Colleen almost 30 years ago at Ann Taylor. She was one of my first employees when we opened the new store and what a breath of fresh air she was!!! Always had a huge smile on her face and always making us laugh!! I worked with her for several years and then we all went our separate ways. We stayed in touch through the years over FB and I watched her get married and have a beautiful child and a beautiful life!!! She will be surely missed by everyone who knew her. May her memory be for a Blessing. My prayers for peace are with you Brett and Patterson and her whole family. RIP sweet soul.

I was so saddened to see this. Colleen was my wonderful boss at Belk in Valdosta a long time ago! She was always such a joy to be around and a true good time! She was my fav and I remember when she had Patterson! She was truly a special soul. One of my favorite memories is that she always let us hide our clothes until they were so discounted so we could afford them, she taught us all the secrets. She was always smiling and never got upset! I’m keeping your family in my prayers. ❤️

Lana - I’m so sorry to hear about Colleen’s passing. I’m not sure if you remember me - but I worked with Colleen at the Stein Mart buying office and again at the Belk Division buying office. I absolutely loved her. The world is dimmer without her here. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.
